though I wish it were more masculine ... anyway, that's my first car.
Next time I will definitely buy a coupe or an SUV, with a bigger horsepower.

March 23 What I've done
March 17 On A video about Tibetan riotsWell, this is just a post-dinner post... I am not really in a mood for a serious discussion on the riots in Tibet. Just a few (floppy, disorganized, and digressive ) thoughts on a video on YouTube. I am not disagreeing on the main points, but I was upset by the way the video maker presented his ideas. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=x9QNKB34cJo That’s the URL. I dont really feel like embedding that video in my blog, simply because I don’t like it. Improper use of the English language, poorly organized contents, and most of all, the strong resentment and hatred contained and conveyed. For the linguistic errors, one might argue that the maker is not a native English speaker and it’s meaningless to focus on this issue in a heated debate, if not quarrels or trades of insults, on politics. Well, the purpose of this video, as I believe, is to propagandize, to the whole world or at least to the West. Of course one needs to be careful with language. I am writing my blog now in English and I don’t care how many tons of grammatical errors there can be – btw, you guys feel free to point out – I am just getting bored writing my blog in Chinese all the time, in need of an occasional switch for fun and also wanna practice some English without equations or Greek letters. However, for the video, it is posted on the most popular website in this world and should expect scrutinies by hundreds of thousands of viewers. Those low-level grammatical errors achieve nothing but leave viewers an impression that the maker is undereducated, consequently undermining the credibility of what he said. As to the content, this guy is using maps, from different times, trying to telling those westerners the integrity of China’s territory from a historical view. But an amusing question to me is how many people in the aimed audience (of course not Chinese, but ironically most viewers replying to this video are Chinese), say some Americans here at Pennsylvania, are able to read a map, or more specifically and also more respectfully :-) , a map of East Asia? Besides, the maker was trying to relate the slavery of Tibet before 1950s to the Dalai Lama, hinting that his return to power in Tibet will lead to the re-establishment of the slavery. Such nonsense …… The Dalai Lama is a highly respected religious leader in the West (he is a Nobel laureate, a fact few Chinese know) and such an unwise attack to him only screws up the maker’s own argument. Finally about the resentment and hatred… I am sure most westerners will feel offended at this video because of the aggressive, rude and arrogant manner in which he spoke. Then people refuse to believe, take counteraction, and cry back foul words … ( actually I was quite pissed off at a later video in response to this one I am talking about) Then I felt as if I were at Tianya… That's just a verbal war promoting mutual resentment March
