    Through the mists of oblivion

    Cranberries - Zombie

    Another head hangs lowly,
    Child is slowly taken.
And the violence caused such silence,
    Who are we mistaken?

But you see, it's not me, it's not my family.
In your head, in your head they are fighting,
With their tanks and their bombs,
And their bombs and their guns.
In your head, in your head, they are crying...

In your head, in your head,
    Zombie, zombie, zombie,
Hey, hey, hey. What's in your head,
    In your head,
    Zombie, zombie, zombie?

I was just wondering how easily a piece of witnessed history slipped my mind while watching this MV.

    Sinn Fein.

    Irish Republican Army.

Sound familiar? These names could easily find their place in a newspaper  15 years ago.

(btw, are you still reading news-PAPERs these days? )

It is a relief that the violence was ended in North Ireland.

But it is sad to see the riot last year.

And it is even sadder to find people's intolerance of difference as human nature. We tend to bring crusade/torture to others, and then justify our crime in the name of faith.

    Zombie in your head.

    about the song:

This is a very uncharacteristic song of Cranberries. Quite different from "dying in the sun" or "never grow old".

    first impression: it is shit.

    second impression: it is awesome!
